The Garden of Remembrance of Northside Presbyterian Church provides a special place at the church for the ashes of eligible deceased. Ashes are added to the garden where the departed may rest in peace and dignity within the shadow of the church. The Garden of Remembrance is intended to be a peaceful area for meditation and remembrance.
The garden project started two years ago and culminated in the dedication of the garden on Sunday, May 26. The area outside the lower level of the church is available for quiet meditation and prayer.
Those interested in having ashes added to the garden will need to review the guidelines and complte an application for review by the Garden of Remembrance Committee. You can also call the church office to set up an appointment with the Garden of Remembrance Committee.
