Coming Sunday
Linda will preach on “The Day of Resurrection.” There will be special music.
After church, we will have Lemonade on the Lawn (or in the Narthex depending on the weather). The Session will meet in the Old Kitchen.

Happy Birthday Lou Brown The Northside Deacons had a celebration for Lou Brown’s 99th birthday on Sunday, August 10, at English Meadows. They offer their thanks to Lisa for being the backbone in so many ways, to Lucian for providing lemonade and pouring skills and cleomes, to Barbara for ordering and serving the perfect cake and lovely pink roses (and for bringing the ever-popular BiBi), to Emily for the beautiful card box and group card and touching account of Lou’s handwork, and to Kay in absentia for providing the savory snacks. Lou and her family were so very happy; everyone could all see how grateful they were.
Thanks also to Simple Gifts who added a lot to the joy we all felt and to all the members of the Northside family who joined the celebration. |

Monday Night Supper |
Monday's meal was Arby's roast beef sandwich, chips, fruit, and cookies. There were 100 meals served. Helpers were George and Marge, Barbara, and Linda.
