Coming Sunday and Beyond
This Sunday, Linda’s sermon is “With Others.” The choir will offer “Would I Have Joined the Crowd?” to enhance the worship service.
The Adult Forum class will have a presentation about the mission and programs of NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness), the largest grassroots organization in the nation, which seeks to improve the lives of those impacted by mental illness. We will be introduced to the efforts of the local NAMI NRV affiliate and NAMI's unique approach to offering support and education.
There will not be a class on Easter, but the following week the class will begin a series of three classes led by Charles Bostian on Ancient Christianities.
Linda concludes her Lenten series of sermons on Easter with "Witness."

Freeeezer
The Monday Night Supper mission upgraded to a new larger freezer, rendering the smaller upright freezer it replaced as surplus. It is free to anyone who wishes to move it from the lower level. It is not a frost-free model so will require an occasional defrost. If you are interested, or know of someone or some place that could use this freezer, let Bruce know, either in person, by calling the church office, or drop an email to secretary.northside@gmail.com |
