Coming Sunday and Beyond This Sunday, Linda’s sermon is “Listening to Jesus.” The choir will perform “Shine, Jesus Shine” with flute and dulcimer.
The Adult Sunday School class will continue its three-week study of diversity led by Alex Aning.The Adult Bible Study will continue its study of John.
On Saturday, March 1, Linda celebrates 26 years as our pastor at Northside.

CondolencesThe sympathy of the congregation is extended to the family of long-time active member Paul Ruszler, who passed away on February 14. Paul was a Deacon, Elder, and taught the senior high Sunday School class for many years.
His memorial service will be held at the church on Feb. 27th at 10:30 am, followed by burial with Military Honors at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Christiansburg at 1:00 pm.

Activities for Lent
Good News! The Blacksburg Ministerial Association is resuming the Lenten Suppers and Worship for the first time since Covid. Supper will start at 5:45 pm with a worship service to follow. Here is the proposed schedule: March 12 - St. Mary's Catholic Church March 19 - Unitarian Universalist Congregation March 26 - Blacksburg United Methodist Church April 2 - Northside Presbyterian Church April 9 - Blacksburg Presbyterian Church
Details about Northside's participation will be forthcoming closer to the date.
Northside will also be having Lenten Lunches beginning on March 10th. Class will begin at noon each Monday, with a bowl of warm soup and some bread, followed by a short video and discussion led by Reverend Linda. |

Monday Night Supper |
On Monday, the menu was lasagna, roll, salad, fruit, and cookies. There were 60 of those meals distributed; we then switched to chicken nuggets and green beans when the lasagna ran out. Another 30 meals were served for a total of 90 meals. Helpers this week were: Marshall Chaney, Ann Marie and Maria Conner, Linda Dickerson, Susan Heinz, and Bruce and Heidi Harper.
