Coming Sunday and Beyond

This Sunday, Linda’s sermon is “Happy?” The choir will perform “Rejoice in the Promise of Jesus.”

The Adult Sunday School class will start a three-week study of diversity led by Alex Aning.The Adult Bible Study will continue its study of John.

The Session is scheduled to meet after Sunday School.

The church office will be closed on Monday, Feb. 17 for President's Day.

🏈 Souper Bowl Results 🏈

The canned goods from the competition are at the Food Pantry now. Totals are: Eagles= 107 1/2 pounds; Chiefs= 94 1/2 pounds. Philly wins (even though the game was not as close as our canned goods show)! The total dollar value is $387.84. Thanks to everyone for your generosity!

Women's Bible Study

Please join us this Wednesday, February 12, at 1:30 pm in the old kitchen for the monthly women's Bible study meeting.

Condolences

The sympathy of the congregation is extended to Mary Rhodes on the death of her dear friend and long-time housemate, Revathi Balakrishnan, who died suddenly on Friday, Feb. 7; and to the family of Louise Bloss, who passed away on February 2. Service arrangements are pending for Revathi; there will be a memorial service for Louise in the summer.

Monday Night Supper

On Monday, the menu was 8-can chicken taco soup, veggie snack (cucumbers, baby carrots, cherry tomato), fruit and cookies. There were 60 meals distributed. Helpers this week were: Ann Marie and Maria Connor, Karen and Forest Arnold, Susan Heinz, Barbara Wierwille, and Bruce and Heidi Harper.

Service Opportunity

Every Sunday is open to serve Fellowship after worship. The sign-up sheet and instructions are on the Fellowship table. You can also contact secretary.northside@gmail.com to sign up.
