Linda's final sermon in the series on “What Do We Mean When We Say ‘. . .’?” will be on Perseverance of the Saints.

Card Care Sunday

Northside Deacons will host Card Care Sunday on Sunday, February 2, encouraging members to write notes to our church family. Deacons will provide cards in the sanctuary to be sent for care, support, and share in celebration.

Let’s Get Ready to Rumble!

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, welcome to the most exhilarating Sunday of the year – it's Souper Bowl Sunday! That’s right, it’s the day we bring the excitement of the Super Bowl right here to Northside with a twist that’s all about giving back!

Souper Bowl of Caring logo

As we gear up for the big game on February 9th, we’re launching our very own canned soup showdown! In one corner, we’ve got Team Chiefs! And in the other corner, the fierce competitors from Team Eagles! The action will take place in our narthex, where two boxes will be waiting for YOU, the amazing fans!

Here’s the play: bring in your canned soup donations and toss them into the box of the team you think will take home the title! It’s all about having a blast while supporting those in need in our community. Will it be a soup-er victory or will we see a last-minute interception? Only your donations can decide!

**The Goal:** We’re aiming for a touchdown in generosity by collecting as much soup as possible to donate to the Interfaith Food Pantry. This is a prime opportunity for everyone to contribute and show our love while getting wrapped up in the excitement of the game!

**When and Where:** Bring your canned soup donations to church on February 9th before we kick off the service. Make sure to stay tuned for the final whistle when we reveal which team’s box takes the victory!

So, team, let’s rally together and score a big win for those in need. It’s time to show what compassion looks like in action. Are you ready? Let’s make this Souper Bowl Sunday one for the record books!

Keep those cans coming, and may the best team win!

This is your Deacons, signing off from the Souper Bowl sidelines! 🏆✨
